HON. WARRI FLAGS OFF FREE NOTEBOOKS TO ALL PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN ISOKO SOUTH LG

The Executive Chairman of lsoko South Local Government Hon. Friday Warri has officially flagged off free note books in Okpolo -Enwhe to all the 48 Public Primary Schools in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Hon. Warri warned the head teachers that the note books are not for sale and charged them to strictly abide by the rules of the game, by sharing the note books free of charge to the pupils.
He therefore, advised all teachers in public schools to brace up to the challenges of inculcating good morals in our pupils because they are the leaders of tomorrow.
He however, cautioned teachers not to take home the note books which are meant for the school pupils that alleviate their learning towards becoming good citizens in the nearest future.Hon. Warri therefore, advised pupils to take advantage of the free note books and take their studies seriously because according to him, education is the is key to success in life which the Delta State Governor,Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevowri is given a priority in his administration.

The Isoko South Chairman also promised to offer scholarship to 3 best primary 6 pupils in their school leaving certificate examinations.
Earlier in her welcome address, the Vice Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Hon Theresa Ikrike who also double as the supervisory counselor for Education,commended the Council Chairman for this laudable act of procuring note books for all pupils in the 48 primary schools.
Hon. Ikrike therefore, charged the pupils to shun all vices that are inimical to the overall development of education.
Highlight of the ceremony was the official presentation of note books to some of the school pupils by the Council Chairman Hon Friday Warri and assisted by the Vice Chairman,Leader of Isoko South legislative Arm Hon Friday Olokor,Head of personal management of Isoko South Mrs Mary Ofogbor, the Odio logbo of Irri Kingdom HRM. Simon Wajutome Odhomo Igbogidi 1 and LEA secretary, Sir Pius Emamowho.
The ceremony also featured poem recitation by some pupils as well as cultural dance by pupils of Okpolo and Oviota Primary Schools.
A total of 1,700 note books were printed for distribution to the 48 Primary Schools in Isoko South Local Government Area.
