The People’s Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie on Tuesday at the Council Secretariat in Akwukwu-igbo, signed the 2024 Supplementary Appropriation Budget into law as he commended the Legislative Arm for a speedy passage of the Bill for the benefit of the people.
Recall that about two weeks ago, the Council Chairman ably represented by his vice, Hon. Amb Uju Okolo presented a Supplementary budget to the Local Government Legislative Arm led by Hon. Chris Nwamgbor for screening and approval and the Legislators approved it earlier.
Today, at the Conference Room of the Executive Complex, the House Leader alongside the Clerk of the House presented the Supplementary bill to Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie, the Executive Chairman of the Council as he appreciated them for the good job done in approximately 3 weeks.
The Council Chairman noted that the budget was put together with the people of Oshimili North LGA in mind. He adjudged the people of the LGA as being peaceful and cooperative hence the need to give back to them through policies and tangible projects. He assured of diligent implementation of the budget for the benefit of Ndi-Oshimili North.
