As part of Hon. Monday Odigwe’s strategic plan to provide access to Ebu-Owa Modern Motor Park, the Market, the teaming residents of Upper Efeizomor Road and the adjoining areas, the Ika North-East Local Government Executive Committee, today 27th January 2025, approved the construction of 1 kilometer Upper Efeizomor Road with side drains.
The road which is directly opposite Efeizomor Street, Owa-Ekei dual carriage way, when completed is expected to ease traffic within Kingsley Street, Ebu-Owa Modern Motor Park, Ebu-Owa Market and its environs.
The Council Chairman speaking during an inspection tour of the road stated that his administration is committed to people’s oriented projects and will continue to embark on such, in line with the MORE Agenda Mantra of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in bringing the dividends of democracy to the grassroot.
Earlier, the Council Chairman who inspected the pace of work on the Executive Complex under construction in the Council Secretariat, Owa-Oyibu, expressed joy at the level of work done and urged the workers on site to redouble their efforts so as to have the project delivered in record time.
On the Chairman’s entourage were the Vice Chairman of the Local Government, Hon Joy Egbulem, Secretary to the Local Government, Sir Tunde Etumudon and other members of the Local Government Executive Council.
