The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting women across the Council in their various business ventures as part of broader efforts to strengthen the local economy.
Speaking in Ogwashi-Uku on Monday, December 8, 2025, while receiving the Forum of APC Women Leaders drawn from all wards of the LGA, Pastor Chukwunwike described women as indispensable pillars of grassroots development whose contributions to national growth remain undeniable.
He urged the women leaders to serve as effective channels for promoting the ideals of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) at both the federal and state levels. According to him, their influence at the community level places them in a strategic position to mobilize support, foster unity within the party, and deepen public understanding of ongoing government reforms.
The chairman further encouraged the women to remain steadfast in their loyalty to the APC and work in close collaboration to enhance the party’s visibility and electoral strength in Aniocha South.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Mrs. Eunice Otuya Nwoko, expressed profound appreciation for the chairman’s consistent support and the development projects recorded under his administration. She noted that the visit was not only to convey their gratitude but also to strengthen their relationship with the council leadership. She added that the women leaders would continue to align with the chairman’s vision and positions in moving the local government forward.
The group pledged to intensify their efforts in promoting the Renewed Hope Initiative across communities, assuring that they would remain active ambassadors of the party’s programmes and objectives.
A major highlight of the visit was the presentation of a portrait to the council chairman—an expression of gratitude.
